Shaped to follow the lines of the Ténéré 700 World Raid, the AXP Adventure skid plate wraps protection around the frame tubes, linkage, side stand sensor, and engine cases. HDPE absorbs rock strikes quietly rather than transmitting noise and vibration through the chassis, and unlike aluminum it will not deform on impact. At 3.1 kg it comes in 30–40% lighter than a comparable alloy plate, keeping the bike's overall weight in check.
