Constructed from 8 mm thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this skid plate wraps closely around the frame, extending coverage all the way back to the foot pegs to shield the frame, engine cases, and linkage. HDPE absorbs impacts without transmitting vibrations to the chassis, and unlike aluminum or carbon fiber alternatives, it resists deformation and holds up to repeated hard hits — proven in competition by AXP Racing.
