AXP Racing's 8mm HDPE skid plate absorbs trail impacts without deforming, delivering a notably quieter ride compared to alloy alternatives. It mounts to the front frame at four points and uses alloy brackets at the rear — attaching to the unused center stand pivots — so the engine itself is never stressed by the mounting hardware. Tank protection is built in, removing the need for separate crash bars.
