The NXT 5 is a fully automatic 5A charger built for both 12V lead-acid and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries — and it spans a remarkable 1.2–160Ah, so one charger covers everything from a small motorcycle battery to a large car, boat or caravan battery. It doesn’t just charge: it actively works to extend battery life and bring tired batteries back.

Intelligent per-chemistry charging means you select the mode and the NXT 5 analyses the battery and applies exactly the right treatment — gentle current for a small bike battery, full 5A for a large car battery. A patented desulphation stage clears the lead-sulphate build-up that kills neglected batteries, and a dedicated reconditioning mode uses controlled voltage pulses to restore lost capacity — ideal for a bike stored over winter. Automatic temperature compensation keeps charging correct in cold or heat, and robust rubber cables plus IP65 protection suit real garage and outdoor use.
